What is magick and what is it used for?
A. People who use magick believe that there is energy in the universe that can be manipulated to achieve a specified end. Contrary to Hollywood and popular belief, using magick doesn’t mean you turn people into newts or can blow out a candle from a cross the room with only your mind. In essence, using magick is like praying, but instead of asking your higher power to take care of things for you, you yourself are trying to effect that change with help and guidance from your higher power. Many modern day witches use magick for healing, not for turning your mean neighbor into a toad.
