What is MAE 801?
This course normally provides seminars from time to time within the MAE department. Many of these seminars are classified as MAE 801 seminars and attendance is mandatory. All MAE graduate students must register for MAE 801 seminar every semester they are enrolled and have 9 credits or more. MAE 801 is a required course that does not contribute toward your degree credit requirements. You are excused from this course if you have a meeting time conflict with a regular letter grade course or if it is your last semester and you are taking fewer than 9 credit hours to complete the degree requirement. The first meeting of MAE 801 serves as a time slot for departmental orientation of new Graduate Students. Only new graduate students need attend the first meeting.
