What is Loving Shepherd Ministries, and how did it get started?
A. Loving Shepherd Ministries was founded by Ed Schwartz, a pastor with a heart for children, in 2002. The ministry was started as an outreach to assist families who wanted to adopt but didn’t know how. Since then, Loving Shepherd Ministries has become a diversified ministry dedicated to fulfilling the Biblical mandate to care for orphans. Loving Shepherd Ministries does this by pursuing its mission: To care for abandoned, orphaned, and at-risk children around the world and to help others to do the same. Loving Shepherd Ministries brings together the expertise and resources of individuals and organizations to offer a world of hope to orphans and families around the world.
