What is lookahead resolution?

0

Lookahead resolution is when an XRI resolver asks an authority server to try to resolve more than one authority subsegment at a time. If the authority server complies with this request, it will return a chain of XRDs wrapped in an XRDS document. Note that the difference between this functionality and proxy resolution (below) is subtle and interested parties should consult the XRI Resolution specification for more details.
