What is live / work like for muslim men/women in Australia?
I can only speak for Sydney from experience: 1. Housing is the most expensive in Australia. The cheapest housing is in the parts of Sydney with the largest immigrant populations in Western Sydney. The further west from the centre of the city you get, the cheaper and less convenient it is. 2. You have to specify what type of work. Some Muslims have taken their employers to court for not giving time to pray and have been successful. There’s a pretty wide availability of halal food, primarily Turkish and Lebanese food. 3. School quality depends on the area you live in. If your kids go to a public school in a poor/immigrant area, they can learn many bad habits. Granville Boys High School is almost entirely Arab, and their studenst made videos on YouTube praising the leader of a Lebanese gang that for several years had gang-raped kaffir women (and took part in the rapes too we might assume.
