Unlike radio and mobile phone signals, all satellite antennas require a direct line of sight to the service satellite without any blockages. If there is any type of blockage, such as a building, a tunnel or even a tree, then the signal is momentarily lost. RaySat has created a Dedicated Data & Video Distribution Platform which is a turnkey solution for overcoming signal interruptions caused by LoS blockages.
