What is like working with Guillermo del Toro for the first time?
Walton: I saw the first Hellboy and then I saw Pan’s Labyrinth, and that made me very excited because Hellboy is a real genre-bender. It is very different when compared to other action films right now. You really care about the characters. You don’t leave only thinking about the stunts. The movie has a sensitivity and gentleness, and its funny. It is just different. And then watching Pan’s Labyrinth, the imagination of this man is quite extraordinary. I was looking forward to working with someone with that kind of that imagination. It is the same kind of imagination I had when I was a little girl. As adults now, we don’t really tap into that type of imagination. And it has been wonderful working with him. He is very passionate, very spontaneous, and he knows exactly what he wants. Visually, he has everything worked out in his head. I think it is going back to that child-like way, in seeing something like that. So it is wonderful working with him in that sense. document.write(“”); Q: Se
