What is Lifestyle Choices?
Lifestyle Choices is a comprehensive program designed to give you skills and knowledge to live a healthier life. This popular, two-week series will inspire you to make positive changes toward a better, healthier you. You will sample many healthful foods and take part in a pre-assessment and post-assessment to give you a personal look at your blood studies, fitness evaluations, nutritional standing, and Personal Wellness Profile. You will spend time with a physical therapist in order to start a regular physical activity program that is appropriate for your personal wellness goals. You will meet with other attendees five nights a week, for two consecutive weeks. Each night of Lifestyle Choices you will engage in physical activity, supper meal, cooking demonstrations, and physician-led, eye-opening talks. Toward the end of the program, you will participate in a “field trip” to the local grocery story to begin the practice of concepts learned about nutrition and healthy food choices. Prove
