What is life expectancy on a person with Stage 4A esophageal cancer, who underwent chemo and radiation?
My father’s tumor shrunk along with the cancer in the lymph nodes. He just began eating a few foods such as soup and small pieces of bread. Surgery is not an option because the cancer is still in distant lymph nodes. The chemo and radition just shrunk the cancer, but didn’t eliminate it. I was just wondering what a general life expectancy time frame would be.
