Yes and when i was homeless the church did help me Liberation theology at one time was called a strange combination of Marxism and Christianity They are not the same. Marxists believe in violent revolution which usually starts civil wars Christians run charities and some of their missionary work involves helping poor people in third world countries, hospitals and helping people get health care, soup kitchens, homeless shelters.
