What is LGC HealthTrust?
LGC HealthTrust is a nonprofit membership organization devoted to providing a full range of employee benefit programs exclusively to schools, municipalities, counties and other quasi-municipal entities in New Hampshire. It provides employee benefits to more than 105,000 New Hampshire employees and their dependents, including medical plan options with comprehensive, prescription drug and dental care coverage plus health management programs, group life insurance, short- and long-term disability programs and workers’ compensation. Founded in 1984 by the New Hampshire Municipal Association, LGC HealthTrust is a program of New Hampshire Local Government Center which is governed by a 31-member Board of Directors with school, county and employee representation.
