What is Leominsters real Main Street?

Sherwin Drury, an active member of the Leominster Historical Commission been compiling the history of Leominster’s Main Street and North Main Street ever since he has been with the commission. The fact that Main Street runs from the center of Leominster into North Leominster, and North Main Street leads out of the city into Fitchburg has haunted the historian and Leominster resident. Drury has compiled a history of how each street came to be using information provided in street maps dating as far back as 1794, David Wilder’s book “The History of Leominster,” data from in “Roads and Streets” by Emma C.
