What is LEED and how does it apply to Waco filters?
LEED is the acronym for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, the program sponsored by the US Green Building Council to make buildings more environmentally sustainable. LEED is a points based certification program to objectively determine whether a building is contributing to environmental improvement. LEED certified buildings in general are expected to utilize resources assets more efficiently than other buildings. Once a building (either new or existing) has achieved LEED certification it will provide healthier work and living environments, which contributes to higher productivity and improved employee health and comfort.
