What is Layne Staley Fund? What does it do?
Layne Staley Fund is a non-profit organization founded in 2002 by Nancy Layne McCallum and Jamie Richards to assist in recovery. The Fund uses all proceeds to support local chemical dependency facilities, drug education, and outreach programs. Treatment services are provided by Therapeutic Health Services at their greater Seattle locations. Several heroin protocols are offered, based on THS’s 40+ years of service. Our vision is to turn the tragedy of Laynes death into an avenue of hope for those who suffer. The mission of Layne Staley Fund is to provide hope, awareness, education, support, and treatment funds for heroin recovery in the Seattle music community.
