What is Laser Hair Removal and How Does It Differ from Electrolysis?
Laser hair removal is the removal of unwanted hair through the means of applying a laser-based light source directly to the skin targeting the hair within each follicle. The same heat principle applies as in thermolysis electrolysis, but no probe insertion occurs. Instead, the laser light is absorbed by the melanin in the hair, vaporizing the pigment and restricting the hair follicles ability to regenerate the hair. Several follicles are targeted with each laser pulse, enabling results to be obtained more quickly than with any other method.
