What is laparoscopic surgery
Laparoscopic or minimally invasive surgery is a surgical technique where the surgeon performs the procedure through several small incisions (ranging from a half-inch to one-and-a-half-inches). The surgeon performs the surgery with an instrument inserted through the small incisions. Laparoscopic surgery has been known to decrease hospitalization time and pain for many patients compared to traditional procedures.
