What is Kuali?
The Kuali Foundation is a non-profit organization that coordinates the efforts its partners, a community of colleges, universities, and other interested businesses and organizations working together to build administrative software for higher education. The word “kuali” is a Malaysian word for a small wok-like cooking utensil, a humble but essential tool. Like the wok, Kuali software performs essential business functions behind the scenes.
