What is kryptonite in superman?
Krypton is the Superman’s home planet. Krypton exploded, and bits of the planet, meteorites, ended up on Earth. These meteorites from Krypton are called kryptonite. Kryptonite comes in different colors and effect Superman differently. Green Kryptonite is lethal to Superman if he is exposed to it, as the radiation can kill him if its in large doses or is close to him. It makes him very weak. Red Kryptonite affects Superman’s emotions. It can cause him to become “evil” or say and do weird things. The effects are temporary and it isn’t always known how Red Kryptonite will affect Superman. Blue Kryptonite. This actually is good to Superman. It comes from Bizarro Superman’s world, and is hurtful to Bizarro Superman. (Bizarro Superman is the opposite version of Superman from another dimension and is a character that speaks backwards and does nonsense. He has Superman’s powers.)
