What is Kennecott Land doing to make Daybreak environmentally friendly?
Everything from the home designs to walking trails has been planned with sustainability in mind. All homes must be built to Energy Star® standards, and our builders and contractors participate in an on-site construction waste recycling program. Gravel for the construction process is retained on site as well. A significant amount of our open space is irrigated with secondary water, rather than using culinary sources. And the storm water system has been built to retain precipitation, which will eventually recharge the aquifer.
