Anyone born on or after July 1st 1957 is required to have completed a certified hunter education course to hunt in Kansas. Approved courses from all other states are accepted in Kansas. Anyone 27 years or younger must carry their card on their person while they are hunting. Hunter education is not required when hunting on controlled shooting areas. At Tallgrass Lodge, we have an exceptionally high safety standard and make no exceptions when it comes to Hunter Education.
