What is Just-in-Time (JIT) information?
• If the solicitation (RFP or BAA) specified “Just-in-Time” procedures, certain documents not included in the original proposal must be provided during negotiations between NIH and the leading contenders for the contract. }}–> }}–>These JIT documents may include budget backup documentation, institutional travel policy, the institution’s annual financial report, approval for use of human and/or animal subjects, and a small business subcontracting plan. • If Human and/or Animal subject approval is needed, send OCGA/SIO the following: • Any human subject training certification letters from the UCSD PI and subcontract PIs • A list of relevant human and/or animal subject protocol numbers with their approval dates • OCGA//SIO will have the Human Research Protections Program or the UCSD Animal Welfare Program review your contract proposal and generate the official IRB/IACUC certification forms that NIH requires.
