What is JU8 for on the PCM400 CPU board?

0

The jumper JU8 is normally in the “B” position which activates the TB1 terminals to communicate with Modbus sensors connected to the PCM400. The only time this jumper is moved, is when a serviceman must use the J3 Service Port to access the control for local programming or installation reasons. See other FAQ’s on this page related to connecting a laptop directly to the PCM400. The factory setting of JU8 is the “B” position.
