What is Jolly Rogers Cookbook?
Jolly Roger’s Cookbook, also referred to as the Anarchist’s Cookbook or the Anarchy Cookbook, is a collection of text files that can be found at many different locations on the Internet. It was originally a book entitled The Anarchist Cookbook, but has since been distributed online and has often been tweaked and edited by various individuals. The underlying purpose of all “Jolly Roger”‘s writing is to empower the ordinary person with ways to subvert authority and cause trouble. Essentially, it’s a teen’s handbook on becoming a terrorist. The files contain detailed how-to lists and pointers related to illegal and dangerous activities. Some of the categories you can read about on the Cookbook are “Counterfeiting Money,” “Landmines,” “How to Kill Someone With Your Bare Hands.” Much of the information is obsolete, as technology has changed greatly since “Roger” wrote the pages up back in the 1970s.
