What is joint Federal/state falconry permitting?
To simplify falconry permitting for the public, some states participate in a joint falconry permitting program. States that meet the federal falconry standards can opt to handle falconry permitting with a single permit application. In those states, once the state processes your application and we have confirmed that you are qualified, we will co-sign your permit. If your state does not participate in joint federal/state falconry certification, you must apply for your state and federal falconry permits separately.
