WHAT IS JOBS FOR CINCINNATI GRADUTES?
• Jobs for Cincinnati Graduates (JCG) is a non-profit organization, created in 1982 by the Cincinnati Business Community. • JCG provides comprehensive school-to-career job readiness programs for high school students with barriers to success. • Our vision is to lead every JCG student to graduation, a successful career, and life-long learning. WHO ARE JCG STUDENTS? • They are youth identified by their school as likely to dropout, and needing additional support to make a successful transition from high school to adulthood. • Or, they are youth who have dropped out of high school and want to re-enter the educational system through non-traditional educational programs. HOW ARE YOUTH ELIGIBLE FOR THE JCG PROGRAM? • Youth must be between the ages of 14 and 21, and face barriers to success. They must attend one of the JCG partner schools or be a high school dropout. • Barriers include: low income, failing a prior grade, failing to pass Ohio Graduation Test, absenteeism and/or suspensions, sing
