What is JMD?
The activity of Jernimo Martins Distribuio de Produtos de Consumo is centred on the exclusive representation in Portugal of international brands, most of them market leaders. Its origins are closely linked to the store in Chiado. With more than 210 years of know-how, it represents food and cosmetic brands in Portugal. Notable brands in the food area include Kellogg’s cereals, Sunquick juice concentrates, Heinz and Guloso products, Lindt, After Eight and Merci chocolates, Werther’s Original caramels and Canderel sweeteners. In cosmetics, it represents and distributes brands for the Pharmacy and Perfumery channels, and the Pharmacy channel is gaining recognition with the development of the Cellcosmet brand and, more recently, the launch of the Korff Cure Make Up brand.
