What is JEDI MIND trick?
If someone said it to you like “I did a jedi mind trick on you,” then they mean they just persuaded you in a pretty ridiculous way. Maybe they made no good argument at all, or they made up a stupid story and you believed it. In Star Wars, Obi Wan Kenobi says “these are not the droids you’re looking for” and just vaguely waves his hand. Some stormtroopers seem to magically believe him and one says “these are not the droids we’re looking for.” In the world of Star Wars: The Force can enhance natural physical and mental abilities, including strength (such as during a “Force jump” or to slow a fall from an otherwise dangerous height) and accuracy (as when Luke Skywalker was able to launch proton torpedoes into a two-meter-wide thermal exhaust port on the Death Star in A New Hope).
