What is JCCCs policy regarding intellectual property rights generally?
It is JCCC’s policy to respect third parties’ rights under the intellectual property laws of the United States, including federal statutes protecting copyright and trademarks. Faculty, staff and students at JCCC must also respect third parties’ rights. It is against JCCC policy for faculty, staff or students to use JCCC equipment or services to access, use, copy or otherwise reproduce or make available to others any copyright protected materials except as permitted under the Copyright Act or by written agreement. JCCC expects all faculty, staff and students to follow its policies on the proper use of copyright protected materials, to comply with all written agreements concerning the use of copyright protected materials and to teach students to do the same.
