She will help both of you consider all relevant issues, both legal and practical, and she will keep your discussions on a productive level. She may suggest options for you to consider, but she will not impose any result upon you. When you reach an agreement, Jane will write a legally enforceable marital separation agreement which both of you will be able to sign.
