JALT is the Japan Association for Language Teaching, a not-for-profit professional organization of people interested in promoting excellence in language learning and teaching. JALT publishes a monthly magazine and a biannual journal. JALT chapters hold regular meetings featuring workshops or lectures related to teaching.
