iTunes trending files are a valuable resource which give insight into how your tracks are selling. Trending files also show the zip code and country of where the consumer made the transaction. Although very detailed, you must still rely upon monthly sales reports for accurate sales and royalty information. Royalties are not paid based on trending files. Each report should post within 24 hours after midnight for the previous day.
