We live in Canada, and along with the rest of the world we use the International System of Units. I think the real issue here is that we have yet another example of how this government is trying to harmonize our public policy with that of the US. Canada will not become the 51st state by conquest, it will happen through the accumulation of all these seemingly benign social and economic policy decisions – decisions which will further blur the line between our two countries and pave the way for continued intervention in our affairs on behalf of the US government.
