What is it like to work at Victorias Secret?
I worked at Victoria’s Secret for 1 1/2 years as a part-time sales associate, starting in the summer of 2007 and ending during the winter of 2008, and I loved it, I would still be there if I wasn’t offered a management job that paid twice as much. 1. The pros of working there are the selective clientele. Usually our customers were very friendly, classy, polite, and easy to help. Most people who shop at Victoria’s Secret are upper-class people willing to shell out $50 for a bra and $10 for one pair of panties, so we had a lot of middle aged women, rich boyfriends, and working teens whose parent’s were still paying all of their bills. The dress code was also nice, when I first started, we had to wear black jackets and pants, with any type of shirt, shoes and acessories, but the dress code has changed to all black, minus a jacket, which is very easy to maintain without having to buy a lot of clothes, I had to purchase a $20 blazer when I started.
