Eline, a pupil from Norway is staying in a cabin on an island, far North in the frozen continent! To give others a taste of life there, she is writing an online diary for the Norwegian Schoolnet read more. Eline Aasheim is a thirteen year old girl. From July last year until this summer, she’s living in a trapper’s cabin on the island of Svalbard with her mum, dad and sister. She’s writing letters to the Norwegian Schoolnet throughout the year to share her experiences with other children. For instance, in one letter, she describes a trip made with her family: “The sun is shining, the snow is glistening, and the dogs are barking and want to go out. And that is just what we are going to do – take a trip.
