WHAT IS IT LIKE TO LIVE IN PLAYA DEL CARMEN, MEXICO?
Wonderful! The weather in the riviera maya (cancun, playa del carmen to tulum) is beautiful, the beach is exquisite, and the people are fantastic. Some things are different than what you might expect back home. If you are living in a house, then you will probably be using gas to run your stove and hot water. The gas is delivered in tanks by big trucks that drive around the neighborhood so if you run out you just have to flag one down and buy a new tank. Garbage is collected everyday. The water is contained in big tanks on the roof so you may have to turn on an electric pump once a week to pump your water. This only holds true for houses, not condos, where these things are handled for you. People from all over the world are moving to playa del carmen, mexico which makes living here even more fun.
