What is it like to live for a month in Ciudad Guzmán?
Ciudad Guzmán is a city based on commerce, some cattle and industry, but agriculture is the main activity. Its people are friendly, rural and quite tranquil. It is considered one of the five safest cities in Mexico, so people can walk at anytime without feeling unsafe. The police are friendly and reliable. It is surrounded by mountains that are part of the Sierra Madre Occidental. It is close to ecological biosphere areas which are regulated by UNICEF as the “ecological patrimony of humanity”. It has quite an extensive lagoon, where members of the community enjoy going boat riding and fishing.
