A. The Division of Information Technology employs a large number of students who provide valuable assistance as they visit offices across campus. In an on-going effort to provide high quality service and a positive work experience, this year IT instituted the Student Development program for all IT student workers. The students are trained in a series of customer service topics, ADA issues, confidentiality of information laws, Microsoft products, as well as the more technical areas of networking and printing including skills in troubleshooting and identifying a wide array of desktop problems. IT student employees wear a photo identification badge, and are required to leave a contact form in your office.
