What is it about the game design or the Commandos brand that sets Strike Force apart?
Michael Souto: I think setting is key. WWII is important to the Commandos brand, although that’s not to say that we couldn’t take this gameplay elsewhere. This War however was the one that gripped the minds and souls of all involved, as there was a very clear distinction between good and evil. In Commandos Strike Force you really want to get into the thick of things because you know you have a job to do. There are also lots of elements from the original Commandos that we were able to bring across to Commandos Strike Force. Anyone that has played Commandos in the past will instantly recognize the style of play. We have chosen the favorite three character types from Commandos, each with their own different skills and abilities. From stealing enemy uniforms and posing as Nazi officers to distracting enemy guards using packets of cigarettes.
