What is it about genetic codes (DNA) in a persons Blood or in their Nerves?

0

At one time, before the discovery of DNA or any other molecule for that matter, it was believed that the mixing of blood was the important thing for heredity and hence the survival of words such as bloodlines etc. It was pretty much a widespread belief. DNA is the common genetic material in all organisms and is the only thing that is passed from generation to generation via the germ cells and is what links everyone to their ancestors. How we develop as individuals depends in part on the genes we carry and in part the environment we grow up in.
