What is isoelectric western blotting (iWB)?

0

Isoelectric western blotting or iWB is a special application of the dPC technology where proteins that have been separated and concentrated on a dPC can be directly transferred to a PVDF membrane. Proteins on this membrane can then be visualized using any of the standard methods associated with traditional western blotting including protein stains and ECL. This rapid and easy application can be used to validate discoveries made by MS/MS or can be used for discovery directly. Protein Forest will soon market this application in a kit format.
