What is iron loft angle?
Iron loft angle plays a key role in determining trajectory and distance the ball will travel. Properly set incremental loft angles improve consistency and playability. We check and set all of our irons to our standard specifications during the manufacturing process. When iron loft is set properly to incremental standards, shot consistency and control benefit. We recommend standard iron loft angles for the majority of players. In the case of a player with less than optimum shot trajectory, iron lofts can be modified to improve trajectory. Iron loft can be weakened up to 2° to help the player with lower than optimum trajectory and made up to 2° stronger to help those with higher than desired trajectory.
