What is involved with the credentialing process and how long does it take?

The credentialing process is two-pronged. You will need clinical privileges at the University of Maryland Medical Center as well as a faculty appointment at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. The process involves a significant amount of paperwork and usually takes about 120 days. Kristen Farrell, our credentialing coordinator will work closely with you on this process. Please note: your CV will need to be in the School of Medicine format for the faculty appointment process.
