What is involved in the Master Teacher application?
In this application process, you will be asked to provide evidence of your ability to demonstrate excellence in your teaching practice. Each individual component in the teaching portfolio requires three types of information; documentation, evaluation, and reflection. Documentation includes: a 3-5 hour instructional plan, a yearlong student assessment plan that includes samples of student work, resources and/or assessments, an Individual Professional Development Plan, a 15-minute video of your teaching, and principal and colleague statements of recommendation.
