At the LiveScan office, we enter all the personal demographic information that you have filled out on the request form into the Identix Fingerprint system and then we take an electronic scan of your fingers. This is then immediately sent to the Utah Bureau of Criminal Investigation and they actually process the background check. The results are then provided to your requesting agency.
