The initial training course is very intense. After the course you will have a complete overview of care, the principals of care and confidentiality, health and safety, the role of the care worker, adult protection, fire training, CoSHH, infection control, hand hygiene, food hygiene and moving and handling. The course also involves 2 days in a care home environment. You will be supported by your trainer and your fellow course mates the entire way through the course.
