What is involved in moving my email service to Mistrals Hosted Exchange?
A. • You will be asked to email a list of the required user names and suggested passwords for each mailbox. • Mistral may convert your suggested passwords to a strong format for improved security. • If groups are required e.g. info@ or sales@, simply tell us the name you would like to call the group and which users you wish to include. • Mistral will licence and commission your new Exchange service and provide strong passwords where required. • Simple instructions will be provided on how to connect to your new email service via the Web interface and Outlook. • Now that the full power of MS Exchange is available to you we need to direct your email to Mistral. This involves transferring the appropriate domain name or amending its MX records. Once a again this is a simple process where Mistral will assist. • If you have old emails on a previous mail server that you would like to add to your new service, simply forward the ‘pst’ files for each mailbox.
