What is involved in IVF? Is it complicated?
There are many steps involved with IVF, from initial consultation to transfer of the embryo. Many patients feel that the time and effort are worth the chance at a successful pregnancy. Women will need to undergo evaluation, blood tests, ultrasound, hormone therapy, egg retrieval, and embryo implantation on a carefully regulated schedule. Men will also need to be evaluated, have blood tests, and donate sperm. Our office will advise you as to what’s needed.
