Intranet is a network of computers, which are linked to each other in a corporate which work on LAN (local area network) This network is used to interchange data between the various departments in the organization. Extranet is similar network of computers in an organization, the only difference being that the dealers, suppliers and other outdoor parties, which are crucial to the growth of the organization, can access it.
