What is interruptible delivery service offered by the energy utility, for gas and electric supplies?
Interruptible delivery service provides gas transportation through the utility’s gas and electricity distribution system to your plant on an interruptible basis. Such customers “borrow” main capacity on the system when it is unused by other firm sales or firm transportation customers. This “borrowing” concept means that the utility must interrupt this transportation service during peak load conditions, when firm customers require the capacity.
