What is Internet Access Scheduler?

0

• A: Internet Access Scheduler (IAS) lets you decide which Windows 9x/Me users can access which TCP/IP based protocols (HTTP, FTP, SMTP, POP3, Telnet etc.) on a local Windows 9x/Me computer. IAS allows you to set allowed/denied TCP/UDP destination ports for incoming and outgoing TCP/IP connections. Once IAS is installed, you can control access to incoming/outgoing TCP/IP connections depending on the time of day and the day of the week. IAS enhances access control for Windows System Administrators and can protect local and network computers against viruses, trojans and other malicious programs which are often obtained from the Internet unknowingly. Remote control is also available.
